Service Technician
Job Summary
The Service Technician plays a vital role in maintaining ACE’s reputation for excellence by providing exceptional post-installation support to customers. This role involves diagnosing and resolving issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring that our solutions continue to meet customer needs over time. Service Technicians serve as the face of ACE, delivering professionalism and technical expertise on every job.

Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction, waterproofing, plumbing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering effective and efficient solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to homeowners clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and basements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
- Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps with homeowners.
- Uphold ACE’s commitment to treating customers’ homes with care and respect, leaving every jobsite clean and organized.
- Conduct foundation and basement inspections if requested by homeowners and deliver recommendations consistent with their home’s needs.
Technical Excellence:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to waterproofing systems, foundation repairs, sump pumps, and other services provided by ACE.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Utilize industry best practices to resolve problems and provide durable, long-term solutions.
Documentation & Accountability:
- Maintain detailed records of all service visits, including work performed, materials used, and recommendations provided.
- Follow ACE’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality across all service calls.
- Provide feedback to the Service Manager about recurring issues or opportunities for process improvement.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Service Manager/General Manager and other team members to prioritize and schedule service calls efficiently.
- Share insights and experiences with teammates to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new techniques, tools, and products.
